MoJo Internal Use Terms

Effective date October 14, 2026

These terms govern authorized use of MoJo Practice Management and its MoJo Bookkeeping Gateway integration, operated by MoJo Growth Advisors, LLC (MoJo). The service is an internal tool for assigned client work. It is available only to users approved by MoJo; there is no public signup or general public license.

Authorization and permitted use

MoJo grants an authorized user a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use the enabled service for approved business responsibilities during the period of that authorization. You may access only the clients, companies, records, and functions assigned to you. Administrator access does not replace authorization to perform a particular client accounting action.

You must use your own authorized account, protect your authentication factors, and tell MoJo promptly about suspected misuse or a change in your responsibilities. You may not share accounts, bypass access controls, access another client’s information without assignment, or use the service for unlawful activity. Approval by a display name or informal account label does not establish access rights.

Client authority and accounting actions

Before connecting a QuickBooks company or processing its information, the responsible MoJo representative must confirm the client’s authority and the engagement scope. An Intuit consent screen authorizes the connection permissions stated there; it does not approve an unlimited series of accounting changes.

Before an accounting write, the responsible user must review the correct company, record, proposed accounting effect, and current approval. A changed source record or expired approval requires review before execution. If a submission has an uncertain outcome, investigate saved state before any further action; do not submit the same accounting effect again simply because an acknowledgment is missing.

Features are available only when enabled and authorized. The initial production connection will have accounting writes disabled. One supported existing Purchase category change may be piloted only under separate approval of its exact accounting effect. No production accounting write, payment, funds transfer, payroll action, or reconciliation completion is authorized merely by access to this service. Separate engagement requirements and action approvals continue to apply.

Review and professional responsibilities

The service assists users in organizing and processing evidence. Users remain responsible for reviewing source information, selecting appropriate accounting treatment, documenting required approval, and verifying saved results. A suggestion, report, or successful button click does not establish that an accounting result is correct or complete.

When an approved AI-assisted feature is enabled, its permitted purposes are transaction coding recommendations, anomaly detection, financial-statement analysis, and review summaries for the assigned engagement. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. Users must compare material conclusions and proposed coding with the relevant source evidence, review the correct company and current record, and obtain the required human approval of the accounting effect before a change is executed. An AI recommendation, confidence score, anomaly flag, or review summary is not approval to change an accounting record. The existing company, assignment, approval, and saved-result requirements continue to apply.

These terms do not create or replace a professional engagement and do not reduce MoJo’s obligations under an existing engagement agreement or applicable professional requirements. Engagement terms govern the services, fees, responsibilities, and treatment of client records when there is a conflict with these internal use terms.

Information and confidentiality

Clients retain their rights in the information they provide. Authorized users permit MoJo and its approved providers to process that information only as needed to operate the enabled service, carry out the authorized engagement, protect the service, and comply with applicable obligations. This permission does not authorize advertising, resale of accounting information, or unrelated use.

Users must preserve client confidentiality, enter only information needed for the approved work, and avoid moving records into another client’s workspace. The adopted MoJo Privacy Policy describes handling, contact options, and applicable requests. Any AI-assisted processing must follow the separately approved purpose, provider arrangement, and client authorization.

Third party services and software

QuickBooks Online, Intuit developer services, Google sign-in, and hosting services have their own terms, privacy notices, availability, and permission requirements. Users must comply with those requirements. MoJo is responsible for its own service and does not claim endorsement or certification by Intuit or Google.

MoJo and its licensors retain their rights in the service software and documentation. Access does not transfer ownership of the software. Except where applicable law permits otherwise, users may not resell or sublicense the service, evade technical restrictions, or use it to build an unauthorized competing service from confidential materials.

Availability and limitations

Access depends on provider availability, valid credentials, current permissions, and enabled functionality. MoJo may pause an operation when identity, authority, data freshness, or saved-state evidence cannot be verified. Users must preserve unresolved work and use the agreed support or engagement process when service access is unavailable.

MoJo does not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free source information. Users should verify material accounting outcomes against the authoritative system. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or disclaim duties imposed by an engagement agreement or applicable law. Any additional warranty or liability allocation requires separate review and agreement; none is created by an unfilled draft provision.

Suspension and ending access

MoJo may suspend or end access when authorization ends, responsibilities change, misuse is suspected, or a security or legal concern requires it. Access changes should preserve the records needed to investigate unresolved operations and meet engagement or legal obligations.

An authorized representative may request company disconnection through the support process. Disconnection must be verified; it does not undo saved QuickBooks transactions or automatically erase required audit and engagement records. Relevant retention and return arrangements are governed by the adopted policy and engagement terms.

Adoption and changes

These terms take effect only when approved by MoJo and made available through the agreed staff access process. Material changes will be communicated to affected users before continued use where required. The draft itself does not record a user’s acceptance.
